Ing. Reinhard Koch - CEO of ISG Energy

Through the initiative of Ing. Reinhard Koch, many projects in the field of energy production from regional resources were realized in the last 20 years. The region of Güssing - also known as the "ecoEnergyland" - is today a global model for decentralized and self-sufficient energy supply.

The research of Biomass has always been the main focus in Güssing. Ing. Koch founded an international research center in 1997, which brings scientist from all over the world to Güssing, that work - together with austrian universities and technical colleges - on the development of new technologies.

The highlight of our researches is the "duel-fluidized bed gasification", which was realized for the first time as a power plant in Güssing by Ing. Koch and his partner from the University of Technology Vienna, Prof. Hermann Hofbauer. As of today, this technology is considered world market leader among experts.

Ing. Reinhard Koch is working on global marketing of this technology with his company ISG Energy.
